Culture takes time to form. Taiwanese people only try to learn about Western culture through dramas and movies, but they only learn the surface and have not yet deeply understood it. We just got together, sent each other gifts and blessings, and took photos. It hasnโt formed a โtraditionโ yet, haha.
Sorry, I have to go out and exercise for an hour. See you later.
Thank you, I understand better ๐. I agree, that is what also happens when foreign cultural traditions are adopted in western countries.
The Taiwanese way of celebrating Christmas is similar to that of Western non religious families (including mine actually).
I saw that trend happening in Japan too.
Neko means "cat" in Japanese, so your ID is easy to remember and very cute.
Thank you .๐ Neko is also my male cat's name that's the reason behind my ID.
The funny thing about that name is that the year I adopted Neko, one of my friends, who lives quite far from me, also got a male cat with similar fur and eyes than mine... I learned later on that she named it Neko too. We had not talked about it at all at the time.
So about Christmas... I was wondering if you celebrate it on the day only or do you do something on the eve too? Do you usually gather with your extended family, or do you keep it to your wife and son?
(You do not have to answer if you think I am too nosy ๐)
Hi lelensp. I'm so sorry to hear that, you are still having problems. Contact the help desk. Maybe they can help. I wS going to suggest to reregister. But, that is a headache. So I wouldn't ho in that root. I always Contact customer service. They are quite good. I'm having issue with my silver coins ๐ช at the moment. And I must say. They are very helpful. They even gave me lots of freebies. Because, they still can't figure it out why I can't receive my silver coins. Hope it works for you. ๐ค๐ค๐ค๐ค๐
I happened to work the night shift on Christmas Eve, so a few days ago, according to the wishes of my wife and children, we celebrated in advance. My wife and son and I went shopping in department stores, watched movies, had meals, and took some photos. Very common and very commercial, haha.
Well I think my friend that the most important thing in all this is to have enjoyed your time together as a family, to strengthen the loving bond. That's all what is important about Christmas in my eyes: joy and love, whatever format it takes whenever it happpens. โจ๐
In fact, according to my opinion, the most important thing is "accompany". When the person you like is by your side, no matter when and where, it is the most beautiful moment.
