How to turn off “Player X has just passed a tough level” pop up

Hi,

I’ve looked in the settings and on here and I can’t see how to turn off these super annoying pop ups. I really don’t care that someone I don’t know passed a tough level and is cheering me on. Nor do I want to add someone I don’t know as a friend. These pop ups stay on screen for ages and there is nowhere to click to close them, you just have to wait for them to vanish by themselves. I play on an iPad Mini and because these take up so much of the screen I can’t start the next level until they vanish. Even more annoying if you are on a timer like 15 minutes of lives.

Please can you add a way to turn these off or at least add a cross to click to close them when they pop up?

Any update on this please? It’s incredibly annoying. It’s the only pop up that you can’t close and it covers a third of the screen on my iPad mini.
