Game seems to have changed since reinstalling

So I re-downloaded the game a few weeks ago and played it absolutely fine, I deleted the app and reinstalled it a few hours later and a few things seemed to have changed, the in-game animations seemed to have got quicker, the layout at the top had changed slightly and when I failed a level it gave me the option to watch 3 adverts, a 2+, 1+ and a spaceship (opposed to a 2+ and 3+ which it was before) having got used to this version, I deleted the app to temporarily free up some space and re-downloaded a few hours later only for the app to have reverted to the original version of the game which now feels strange, anyone else experienced this?
