I've used zero lives until this evening and went to add my first 5 lives, but it shows a count down of over 5 hours?
It's not a glitch. They have changed the counter so that it starts at 20/20 and when you use a life, it gets subtracted and the count goes down. Basically, reverse of what it was.

So, we have a new update regarding the lives issue you have been reporting. A couple of days ago they changed the lives by adding a timer, so you can see how long you have until you can use new lives. Additional to that we have changed the way the lives are counted down. Before it counted upwards from 0 to 20 and with the latest update it now counts downwards from 20 to 0. (check the image for reference).
Do you think this is clear enough or was it easier to understand before the new update?

The timer will only appear after the daily limit is reach, which is something you have already got use too.
The timer is only a visual representation that will allow you to know how much time you have to wait to be able to accept lives again.
During the implementation of this feature there was an issue that prevented the normal claiming of lives. The studio already fixed the issue and you should be able to claim lives normally.
this is just what happened to me. So frustrating. So do they want you to start buying games????
this is ridiculous, I have 20 lives but only three people sent me lives so now I can play three games. I used to have 200 lives given to me and it hardly went down????
I am sick to the back teeth now. I have going on a thousand friends that always request lives which I send but I am constantly asking for lives and I rarely get any in return, it seems the most I get is 10 a day, I am convinced this game is a fix. I requested about a hundred lives last night and I've got up to only 4 lives given. This has been going on for months now and I can tell you not a penny of my hard earned money is being spent on a game that is a fix. Obviously other people's requests are coming through and I send them back but I want to know why I'm not getting.

I did an update two days ago and it wiped out all of my lives. I have over 100 lives since you can only do 20 at a time now. I was on life 12/20 and there were no more lives when I clicked the envelope. What happened and will I get them back?

I liked it before but I don't like the limited lives now at all they are our lives and if we want to use them all up it should be our business to do so not to have somone control our lives, thanks. That should be fixed and I still can't see when I pass a level what place I'm in or give bulk Lives to everyone on that level, fix that too please

I can ask for lives, but can't give them to my friends. I contacted support & they gave a suggestion, but it doesn't work. I can't give lives to any of my friends & I used to send every day. I'm so frustrated by this ridiculous change
I can send out lives, but it seems like I only receive 5 per day..... almost all my saved (200) are used up, and I'm affraid that I won't be able to enjoy chasing rewards. Please get this fixed.

What's going on with CC lives. There is now a hold placed on the number of lives that can be stored/used. I just might stop playing candy crush because of this.

Screenshot taken at 14:04 meaning that my lives will reset at 18:00. I will check at 18:00 to see what happens.
And there you go then. Lives (for some probably) now reset every six hours.

Thanks @Carol-38 I thought I had remembered incorrectly about the midnight reset.
Is that not your avatar? Lately I have noticed a lot of the avatars of the people in my friends list have changed to cartoon characters or just a blue silhouette.
I've still got the 20/20 @Alienscar and it resets at midnight. Will be interesting to see what QueenB says.

Why is my ability to accept lives from my friends disabled?

My partner also plays, and he sent me lives yesterday only for them to not show up AT ALL. I've close and restarted the app multiple times, restarted my phone, logged into the game on my laptop- nothing. I know there's a cap on how many you can accept in a day, but they're not rolling in at all. Is this a known issue and how do you fix it?

App is up to date, Facebook access is active. I can't click my inbox at all- it's greyed out and empty even though I should have quite a few sent from my partner... the only advice is to wait and hope it sorts itself out?

I forgot my password and reset it. Now I lost levels and can't get them back I was close to 700 now I'm on 264 how do I retrieve my levels
Did you try to save your progress because when I lost mine and I went and saved my game I got all of my levels back
Please email Player Support so they can restore the levels manually on your account.
Go to the game's Start Menu, then Settings - Help Center - My Game Progress - Contact us and send them an email. Don't forget to mention what level you were on!
It's important that you choose "Problems with my game" as your topic and "Game didn't save" as your subtopic.

The lives that friends give me i can't click on? there seems to be a timer there and have no idea what that is all about. i would like to use my 20 lives i am given.
Likewise as above, I can't use my lives either. There is also a timer. What's this all about? Please resolve.
yes, i have the same problem and it is extremely frustrating. i do hope this isnt another way king are trying to make us spend money. the "20" is possibly the worst thing they have done to us, and to not be able to use the 20 makes me wonder what on earth they talk about in their project meetings? the way forward should be to appreciate your loyal players, not anger them as much as possible.
