Thanks for the quick reply. Please put me into the 'I don't care for this' group. Getting gold bars is getting more and more difficult

Whenever we introduce an event, we tend to first put this to the test to make sure our players like it as much as we do! To do this, we have a randomly selected group of players test the feature and, based on their feedback, decide whether it's something we want to roll out to all our players or not.
It's likely that you'll have access to something that other players don't - as we always make sure it's cycled around so everyone gets a fair share.
Keep an eye out for the latest updates to the game to ensure you benefit from all features that we release on a regular basis.
@QueenB can you respond to this news, it is really bad. There's no desire to participate in any races anymore, no desire to collect candy....no use for anything anymore. I guess now after more than 10 years I uninstall Candy crush Saga. There is no more fun in this game....it has become just a money collection for you.
