Thought I would do an experiment to see how fast I can complete the next 15 levels of 45 that King have released today. As you can see by this screenshot the time is about 5.16pm GMT. It's now 5.19 so here we go - see you soon. π
Juat landed on level 14,000 having completed Lemonade Lake (15 levels) in 24 minutes. Another 45 gold bars into Gringots - k'ching. It was fun, low scoring, but fun - that is what gaming is about - not what went on in All Stars! This is me - the casual player.
In fact, I have won quite a few of races on the trot which explains my treasure trove of gold. Not that I am a dragon-like hoarder (like Smaug in Lord of the Rings). The gold prizes in All Stars are almost an irrelevance to me. I will earn more gold than they are awarding just by playing as I do. Do the math - 45 bars for every new episode of 15 levels. A run of 335 has helped me to bag (it was not always 45 bars so no, as you can see, I have not got 15,075 bars!)
Here I am just under half an hour later. My internet speed dipped a bit but hey, asi es la vida no?, and a couple of levels were real swines - I had to spend 26 gold bars for more lives to complete but managed to win the race so won another 45 - hoorah! It's just a bit of fun. I'm not trying to prove anything. I'm 15 levels away from 14,000 now. I think I'll go for a cycle ride on my faithful Brompton and then cook some dinner. I may do another 15 later I may not.
