Why do I get the star tournament every week, I go thru about 40 levels and then the star tournament shuts play off for 3 days

It would be nice if your wins on the star tournament applied to your weekly wins .now for three days I can’t win any games. they’re gonna catch up to me and knock me out of first place.😥
The Star Tournament is at the end of Candy Crush, whilst you are waiting for new levels to come out on a Wednesday. If you prefer, don't play it and just wait for three days until the release of new levels on Wednesday.
