Why are my boosters locked all of a sudden π. This game has turned to shit

Well this must be a new thing. In all the years of playing this game Iβve never come across this. They are just trying to make it even more difficult to progress by not allowing you to use your boosters.
Boosters are simply not available at certain levels.
Hello Helen, some levels of the game do not allow the use of pre-game boosters so the place holders are empty. Once you have completed the three (maybe four, I can't remember) levels your pre-game boosters will return

if so this usually happens when the level can be achieved without affecting your streak π
