What is wrong with this game.

I just got several minutes of boosters and then I come to a level that “doesn’t affect my streak” but I lost the free booster again. This has happened several times where I’ve had 30 minutes of the boosters then gone because the next level doesn’t use the boosters yet it won’t effect my streak. Candy crush has become my least favorite game to play.
