why do you keep taking away rewards?

I have noticed in my years of playing Candy Crush that you have taken away rewards, changed the rules, made everything much harder and now you have taken away the lives from the additional friends option. Are you really that greedy for our money? I'm about to quit playing. I have about 7 years invested and it was fun. Now I'm just angry at you messing with it.
