Why am I getting no help from jelly fish?

I've enabled the booster, which I PAID for, and I'm only getting one or two fish per level. I'm stuck on a level and I'd like the help from my boosters. After all, that's what they're there for. Not cool.

I can understand your frustration, but the boosters you activate are randomly generated, so there is no guarantee how many will show up in a particular level. If you activated a booster before the level starts, you will see that booster at the beginning but in the case of fish, check marks and coconut wheels, there is no guarantee when or where on the board they will generate.

In general I still find them useful and will usually use them.

I have made similar experiences lately. The fish booster does not seem to spawn as many fish as it used to. The game is rigged to leave you short of what you need to finish the harder levels, regardless of what starting boosters you play now, that is my impression anyway. Don't spend any more money on anything in this game, that is what I would advise you. It isn't value for money.
