In order to help you, we will need more details from you please! What do you mean by "you can't see your friends' progress"?
Did you mean in the scoreboard - which we see after winning a level? Or is it somewhere else?
If it is in the scoreboard, my friend Sukanta has explained in their comment above.
If it is not the scoreboard, please provide as many details as you can! And, if possible, post a screenshot! So that, we can be of better assistance👍️

Currently some changes have been made to the game and one of these changes is the removal of the top list on the score board.
