@schughes They were still getting profit from Royal Games and they closed down a really good gaming site that had really good games with a nice community, I just don't understand their logic, they even promised us new things, never even happened, all just a bunch of liars.
For profit 📈
I don't even use King or play the games, I'm more concerned about Royal Games that got completely removed from the web back in April, Royal Games was the main portal to King.com, I miss the site everyday, I was hoping that Microsoft would help Royal Games, it had really good games on there and the community was brilliant, I am just gobsmacked that they got rid of a really games site and I'm confused as to why they did what they did.
i hope they respond more and be fair on ppl who pay so much ! after paying the games are tougher ! never got ads ever ! no free stuff or boosters ! each game is tough and u can only pass after using gold bars ! very limited lives and can only keep paying to buy gold bars ! sad
I don't think MS will change the current game model to benefit the players. After spending billions to acquire the King franchise, the current model of player in app purchases to win will remain.
What does this mean exactly?.
Well… it's been almost a year since MS acquired King and based on comments on this site, MS has twisted the profitability model to intensify in app purchases and increase their ROI from spending USD billions in acquisition costs instead of increasing the fun factor. Reports are that CCS revenue brings in >$400m USD per month.
@snakegore999 I hope that Royal Games the main portal to King returns with Microsoft’s help. It was such a good gaming site and the games were brilliant, all the Royal Games players miss the site a lot including me 😭
Thanks for the info. I hope they'll turn it around and make it fun again. A new lease of life is sorely needed.
