Only the booster wheel is on my event tab. I don't have access to anything else. Anyone else have this problem? Any suggestions?

I am sorry to hear about the issue you had!!
"You didn't get any of the items means" of Candy Royale means, did you not receive your share of Gold Bars after playing all the levels? Ex:6/7/10, etc.,
With regards to the Events, please try these steps one more time and see if it works or not --> Force close the game - turn off your device - turn it on again after few minutes - reopen the game -- play any level(old or new; and it does not matter if you lose the level) - come back to game map screen and see if the events are back🍫🍫
I did all those things and still don't have any events other than the bonus wheel. I honestly wouldn't care either way except that I won the Candy Royale last week and didn't get any of my items.

Thank you for reporting. Please do the standard trouble shooting by log out, update your game application, restart your device and login, if playing through browser please clear cache/ history. And login again.
After login again whatever bonus feature you will get that is currently available in your game. Other than that, features might be temporarily unavailable as features come and go. They are not the permanent part of the game and can be replaced or unavailable at any time. Always keep your game up to date and hopefully it might returns to your gam
