One thing is sure that the leaderboard is not of 10 players only, mine now has grown from 10 overnight to 67.
Answers to my 2 questions up there will help me to strategize my game play, to continue racing or call it quit.

Candy Cup Final : less than 52 hrs to finish
Val has a tough board, stopped for rest last night after completed 5 episodes (score 274898?)
but got overtaken in my sleep
I misread his score as 389456, so decided to race, another 2 episodes later realized my mistake(β.β(βΜββ)β.β)
Wow, he scored close to 400000 points in 10 hrs, and I got 410000 points for completing 8 episodes spread over 2 days.
Do I really want to race to be top of this leaderboard? Another 51hrs to go!!

How very odd @MonicaYellow ! I don't like the look of that, as it could easily have gone the other way and then you'd never know if it's real.....Hm...
The answer to the question about "10 players" was sort of answered by MannyFae in this thread yesterday, because I was wondering the same. Apparently what they meant was that the top ten players of each group would get a prize. The wording was odd and I also had misread it. If you think about it, limiting the number of players in each group is what always gave the latecomers a whopping advantage, because they would play each other in groups starting after a day or two and then win the prize with a really low score. This kind of shortcut seems to have been gotten rid of by this new system, where new players are added to existing groups. If we keep playing the latecomers should not have a chance to catch us up, so I don't mind if another 40 or 50 get added.
I am yet to look at my game. Was on top when I went to bed. I hope I don't have too much catching up to do.

Yeah, I'm still on top! After a tight neck and neck race with Diego I went to bed with a lead of 100,000 points, having played 9 episodes yesterday, the last one a really hard one, using up all my 20 lives (thanks to you my friends for those!) and spending more gold than I earned. Could this have paid off? This morning it looks like my two competitors have not played (yet). I hope they are real. Sorry to always have to doubt these things. But I lost all my trust in the "team" with all their dirty tricks.
