what's the trick tothis level -
I have checked the level out on YouTube for you and maybe I can clarify this for you, as there will be more levels like this as you progress through the game. The squares with numbers on are locked until you have destroyed what is shown on them, so for example if there is a square showing 38 and frosting then it will count down each time you hit a frosting. Once the number gets to zero whatever is underneath will unlock. This may be something quite different and helpful.

On this particular level the magic mixer produces the blockers you need to remove! Once you have fulfilled the first order the other blockers are unlocked. There is therefore a sequence of unlocking to be done, making the level particularly hard to achieve. I think the developers like these types of levels as they mean players can't bash their way through them with a combination of starting and win streak boosters, so they can be forced to have to use UFOs or Party Poppers or gold to move on.
