I made it back to the top again, folks!

Anyone else frantically trying to catch up the end of the game, here is a warning:
It took me 149 Party Poppers and over 2000 gold bars to pay for other boosters to get here. The last 2000 levels of the game have been made extra hard for players like me. They want our money! I haven't spent any money on this game, nor do I get ads. (The party poppers were winnings from the Candy Cup, which glitched so I got the reward three times)
So I am not sure what will happen now. Sure, I have enough gold left to pay my way out of the hardest levels every week, but that is not fun! I like passing levels in the moves allocated, using boosters appropriately and don't see the point of playing one level with 50, 100 or 250 extra moves for 10 gold. Where is the challenge or game play in that strategy? I can't wait to see what the next update will bring. A scroll-back button and events that allow us to gather boosters by replaying older levels would be nice. But my suspicion is that it will be the exact opposite….. If it is then I'm out again with this top game.

I was wondering why this game has so many levels, and 45 new ones are released every week. I remember someone saying that there are few players at the highest levels, so they are not profitable. What's in it for King? Now I know. I ask myself if I want to get there myself someday. I guess the strategy of hoarding as much gold as you can and using it to push through the last horrible 2000 levels is viable. I am unsure if there is a point.

Thank you. It will be interesting to see how far you get @MannyFae . When I was playing levels 10,000-15,000 I was always within 2000 levels of the end and in those days it was that level range that had the most complaints, just as 15,000-17,000 has had recently. I keep meaning to revisit some of the levels that were impossible and full of blockers when I was in the 14,000s, to see if they have been made a lot easier since. King must have made them easier, or else few players are at those levels? There are very few complaints now about anything 10,000-15,000 at all now. Have you found them different from the pre 10,000 levels so far?

Thanks @Alienscar I had thought about adding the party poppers to my other account (level 3000ish), which is the one I have earmarked for the next All Stars, but then decided that might not be "in the spirit" of how the game is meant to be played and could have been classed as cheating. As I then got the glitch that gave me the party popper prize three times upon merging accounts I am glad I chose the old account instead. I would like to get to All Stars all clean and not taking advantage of any glitches. Mind you, that is getting increasingly hard as there are just so many glitches you can hardly avoid them.
In fact I have found the levels generally less boring than those leading up to 15,000. There are some frog levels and a few quite clever strategic ones. The AI is learning how to write them now, I guess. Some levels are more interesting and some are surprisingly easy as well.

Well done Christine @christinewupp bet your fingers will be flicking away soon, testing the Star Tournament. How strange though that you are not showing on my map and why am I showing as - what I would rather call it - The Jolly Green Giant on your map. Took this screenshot as you will see this morning.
