Developers removed number of moves in levels

Anyone else notice that levels take longer to beat now because there’s fewer moves so you’re stuck on a level for days? If you check videos of levels you’ll see that the developer has deleted the number of moves required to beat levels: I think that shows bad faith, why change the levels?.I’ve been playing this game for over 10 years and I think it’s time the game is retired, it’s not fun the way the developers have made it so that you frequently need to use boosters and gold bars potentially spending money to beat levels because they have lessened the number of moves and created some levels that are so ridiculously difficult to beat that you’re stuck in them for days. #losingmypatience

You are correct in stating that the game has changed and now wants players to use gold to buy additional moves, and the game also wants us to use boosters. The playing strategy has to take account of this change in King policy. The days when all levels were beatable without boosters and they gave out lucky boards after a few tries are gone now. We all have to accept this and either go with these changes or quit. I have adjusted my playing strategy to "the new Candy Crush" and still manage to enjoy the game without ever paying real money for anything. It can be done, but if you don't enjoy the changes then it may be time to quit.

@Legalmom I am not so sure Legalmom, what point are you trying to make? Everyone knows that King removes moves from levels as they openly admit that is what they do.

Level 8861 used to have 40 moves, now it only has 29 moves. There’s also a lame statistic at the end of unsuccessful attempts stating an exceedingly high percentage of players that used boosters and extra moves in order to beat the level. This notification appears at the end of many levels. Of course players have to do that now when you eliminate 11 moves from a level! Wow!

Level 8842 used to have 27 moves, now it only has 22. There’s a recurring theme here lol. Candy Crush has become a pay-to-play game. I literally have 0 hammers, 0 hand swaps left because you hardly earn them anymore. Instead, Candy Crush wants you to use gold bars to buy additional moves in order to beat levels.

Another great example of the developers trying to make money off of its most loyal players: level 8839 used to have 35 moves, it now has 24!! Why remove 11 moves? The only reason developers are deleting moves is so that its most loyal players are resigned to spend money to beat levels: we used to win gold bars in the chocolate box but they’ve taken that away because they want us to buy them.

Level 8836 used to have 29 moves, it now has 23 moves. Why remove 6 moves from players’ ability to beat a level; there can be no reason other than to force players to use gold bars to buy extra moves; you know, those moves that used to be there before the developers took them away.

Hi friend! Thank you for your comment. I understand the levels get more difficult, I’ve been playing for over 10 years and am close to level 9,000. My issue with the developers is how they have changed the number of moves in levels from when the levels were originally released. I am currently on level 8830 and it only has 23 moves, yet you can find helpful videos from other players showing the level used to have 28 moves. I have seen this a lot lately and I find it sneaky and misleading by the developers. You practically have to use gold bars now to buy extra moves to beat most levels. It used to be a fun game of skill but now it’s become a frustrating game. I’ve seen chocolate bombs disappear from my board when nothing touched them and there was no candy explosion. These tricks by the developers are bad faith and just trying to get players to spend money. I think it’s time to look for a different game and definitely not by King. Jmho

I changed my phone and downloaded it again
I changed my phone and downloaded it again. By the way, I have a record of breaking more than 18000 editions, but it keeps going back to 12000 editions. It's so hard to scroll through more than 6000 every time I play.

Level not producing yellow candy
Do we know when the levels that aren't propagating yellow candies will be fixed (i.e.11859)? It's been a couple of days now that they haven't been working correctly…
