Yes, quite a few of us like this event. I can't wait for it to pop up, and of course I only get it every two or three days BECAUSE I like it and win it every time. It gives out gold bars to those players who have enough boosters and gold to make sure we can win it every time.
That is Candy Crush for you: The rich get richer whilst the poor are left out and never stand a chance to catch up. Much like the real world sadly.
I do support the call for an op-out button, though.
I don't like being compelled to play it when I know that there is little or no chance of completing it.
It is one of many recent changes including:
1. New style chocolate box which doesn't allow you to review your options.
2. Time limited boosters.
3. Stupid portrait mode which looks rubbish and makes scrolling back over 11,000 levels to play season pass frustrating.
4. Levels with insufficient moves to pass until the King algorithm permits you.
All of these mean my enjoyment of the game is at an all time low.
