I've played candy crush for years. Why has the way the game works, completely changed?
Oh!! That weird looking board/blockers/candies is a glitch that appears whenever the (regular) candies are changed to different shapes! This week, it was Gem embedded green candies! from tomorrow, it will be Gem shaped candies.
We don't know when the glitch occurs, but, we know why!! Whenever you see this glitch, all you can do is --> Quit your level -- close the game -- turn off your device -- turn it back on after few minutes -- reopen the App and retry the level.
Note: Unfortunately, you will be losing Win streak & the boosters you receive from the win streak.

I also don't like getting timed boosters when I can't use them.
Same here. Played for years. Levels difficult to pass without boosters.
It's a graphics glitch, meaning it's a computing error. That was never an intentional part of the game!

The format has changed so much, that the game is awful I'm nearly at level 14,000. I'll delete the game if it stays this way. It's rubbish.

Unable to purchase
Anyone else have an issue with the booster wheel not letting you spin? Mine says come back in xxx hours for the next spin, but the next spin never comes. I am so stuck on level 7280 and I need some booster help!!
Is anyone else’s games freezing and then crashing? The last few days my games are consistently freezing and crashing. Costing me gold bars and boosters.
