Pot of Gold Final Round

I got all 13,000 purple candies (3 rounds in the Final Round). Upon completing the second round, I won 10 gold bars, but didn't get them. Upon completing the third round, I won 40 gold bars, but didn't get them. Should I have gotten them immediately, or do they arrive on Tuesday, January 23rd, with the rest of my share of gold bars? Please DO NOT RESPOND IF YOU DO NOT KNOW THE ANSWER. DON'T GUESS.

As the 100 gold bars were delivered with the message 'your a Champion' and 'time to take home your first 100 gold bars' then it is more than likely the 100 gold bars are for the Winter Cup @MonicaYellow

I think the people that complained and received their gold bars early shouldn't have as there was no set date for the delivery of the Winter Cup rewards. The only criteria for receiving the 100 gold bars was that winners need to log in monthly between 9th Jan-31st Dec. It will be interesting to see if Val gets the 100 gold bars every 23rd of the month from now on.

Could this be the 1st installment of the 1200 gold bars from Winter Cup win? But Val has already got her 1st 100 gold bars delivered a week ago, after I forwarded her player ID to Queen B.

Well done @MonicaYellow yes again King have surprised us. Not sure if you remember in January 2023 in the Lunar Pot of Gold I argued for days re the 10 + 40 gold offered, thinking we should get 50 if completing all stages. It turned out those reaching the 10 milestone and not going any further got the 10 but for those reaching the 40 only got the 40. I have had a few Pots of Gold showing the last milestone was for 60, this one showed 40 so I was very happy to be getting 60 + the best share of the Pot that I can remember.

Strange happening, logged onto Val's account to claim the 79 gold bars from Pot of Gold, and this greeted me instead:

I have no idea what this windfall is all about, but thought at that moment " there goes my pot of gold". But after I claimed the 100 gold bars, the Pot of Gold delivery arrived too.

Not complaining, definitely.

Looks like more players got to share the pot, a bigger pot, compared with the last round:

Dec 23: 680,498 players, each share 15 gold bars

Jan 24: 1,041,245 players, each share 19 gold bars

They gave us 60 instead of the 40 originally shown and obviously not so many players as usual playing the Pot of Gold so we got 19 from the Pot. Like you I'm not complaining either 😁

Hi @sauren just to add on to what I said earlier, as you know King aren't always consistent with what they do. We had a few Pots of Gold where we waited nearly a week after the given date to receive the Gold. Another time the 10 and 40 were added together, and the last one we had they sent the gold 1 or 2 days before stated. We definitely won't get them before the last day of playing, which is Sunday, so we'll wait and see what happens this time. Would be nice if they added the 10 and 40 together but I doubt it 😏

Hi @sauren I always play the Pot of Gold. Just be aware that when you get your gold on 23rd January, if you collected all the purple candies it will be 40 + a share of the Pot. Normally the share of the Pot is approx 15 so you should receive about 55 gold bars. When King show what we are playing for it is a bit confusing as they show 10 and 40. The 10 is for players who stop at that point, but for those of us who go all the way it's 40

It was a little unclear that the January 23 date referred to the additional 10 gold and 40 gold, especially since one of my candy crush friends claimed he got them (He is a trouble maker and could be lying) and another candy crush friend said she complained to King and they gave them to her (which I find hard to believe as she supposedly got them way too fast). Did you complete the event? If so, did you get them?

@sauren no need for anyone to guess as the information you want is readily available by using the 'i' button of the Pot of Gold Event.

In case that isn't clear, no you shouldn't have received any gold yet you will receive all of it on January 23rd
