A week of frustration on one level has led me the point of retirement from cc. As close as I've come to winning there's the chocolate squares outside the playing field at the upper corners that can't be eliminated π

You probably have to play starting boosters if you want to beat this level. The fishes will go for those inaccessible candies at the top if other jelly has been cleared. Colour bombs will also get them, as both caged candies are blue. Watch out for the game giving you the chance to make a blue wrap/colour bomb combo, that will get those two with one shot. Basically, what you need to do is play the first two moves the game suggests, then watch out for any opportunity to create special candies. If there aren't any you will fail. If there are some, play carefully and the game might allow you to pass, but chances are you will get close but fail. If you do get close but fail, then try using pre level starting boosters on your next attempt. I managed to pass this level after seven tries using this strategy, but I did use all three starting boosters. That seems to be what the game wants players to do now.
