I really enjoy this event because you just enjoy playing your game and collect candies, you don't have to compete with other players. I hope the event will be daily.
I have never gotten a version with 3 UFO's either! Wow!

I play on my PC browser version and have only ever got 1 UFO.
I have the 3 UFO version on my iPhone and the 1 UFO version on the iPad. The length of timed colour bombs also differs.
As I've been playing both games using the same levels and strategy I have accumulated almost the same number of green candies, too. Interesting....
3 UFOs? I have never gotten 1 UFO from it.
I think I might need to start tracking that via posts, what people are getting and compare platforms.
My version of Candy Collection does give timed boosters for the 1st and 3rd "milestones", but the final rewards are not bad, for just collecting 5000 candies, best no need to compete with other players, no surprises.
I agree with you on that. It's pointless for my game as well. I never run out of lives. This prize is of no use to anyone playing to keep their win streak.
I am at the top level and so have no new levels to play until Thursday morning (Australian time) so any sort of timed booster is useless to me. King and/or their Designers couldn't care less about me as they know I don't spend money on the game.
Their "marketing" techniques are aimed at the lower level players who, as yet, haven't learnt the tricks of the trade 😉
