why am I getting a message in the middle of the game on level 7233 that says “not enough order targets”?

Yep, it happened. It’s definitely frustrating when you are so close to win a streak or jackpots.

There are some levels that if I used boasters from the beginning I would lose because they destroyed everything too fast. I got one yesterday showing “oops” right at the beginning as “no possible switch available” or something. I guess all initial boosters from my winning streak somehow took most spots and leave no room for any moves or switches. I failed that level and lost the streak without even playing.
For some levels, I was either too fast or too slow to destroy the chocolate mixers. It’s kind of fun to sort of calculate to make sure all orders are on the board.
