Thanks for the clarification, Pyrolight. It showed up in my game again today and it seemed you can use it as many times as you can if you have hammers in store. The effect is still not so impressive.

You still need a hammer, I mean it does not require you to have a hammer for the level to have it.

IT flashed up in my game, I clicked on it but it took me to the shop to buy hammers?? This happened twice in one game.

It is not the visual aspect, it is the 25 squares it clears haha. Also the extra animation is if you use a hammer with it.

It showed up briefly and randomly in my game tonight. Not as impressive as described maybe due to animation. In a way, it’s similar to the powerful color bombs during winter time. I was out of hammers at one point and this dip flashed in the game but I got no hammer to use.
It seems once in a while, King will test some new features then they may disappear 😄.

So far just the hammer.

From what I have seen:

Randomly when you start a level your hammers will become "dipped" regardless if you have any or not.
The effect lasts the whole level.
What the trigger is, timer, losses, levels played, random number generator is unknown.
It is exceptionally powerful when it does happen.
There is a very short animation attached to the effect.
It does not affect every hammer in that level but always the first one.
Work with 30 minutes milestone hammers.
It will vanish if only a few turns are left
It seems to stay active even if you lose the level with it.

Will be interesting to see where they go with this one.

Whoa @Pyrolight that looks awesome. Any info on any other Lucky Dip items or is it just the Hammer?

Be interesting to see if you notice any increase in level difficulty to account for the change in the Hammers efficiency.

Clearing 30% of the board of all one hit blockers is quite something.
