unless you want to loose all ads forever, never ever buy even the 0.99 sale item. It will instantly remove sweet cinema, all ads, boosts etc. It’s the cruelest game I’ve ever played. I am going to quit the game after this. It’s so unfair and wrong.

There are several side events to receive free boosters with ads:

1. Sweet cinema: There are 9 slots with 5 free boosters, similar to the ones you get from booster wheel, no UFOs, party poppers, paint … You watch an ad then choose one slot, if there's a booster, then you can claim it, if not you can watch another ad. Sometimes, there is waiting time between ads. Similar ideas with Treasure Hunts.
2. Pre-game boosters: You watch an ad and may receive different kinds of boosters such as 1 color bomb, 1 fish, 1 wrapped candy, 1 striped candy, or 3 extra moves, … sometimes it's a combo of 1 color bomb, 1 wrapped candy, and 3 extra moves.
3. Post-game boosters: When you're out of moves, you can watch ads for extra moves + boosters. The combinations vary. The one I like most is 4 moves + 2 moves + 1 UFO (3 ads), usually this UFO is smart because it will hit where it's necessary. The ads can last from 5 seconds to 30 seconds.
4. Free/ Sweet delivery: Sometimes there's a hot balloon floating, you watch an ad then collect a booster.

I guess it depends on the kind of account. Sometimes I feel if you sort of abandon CC for 1 or 2 days or just keep playing not caring about how long it takes you to win a level, when you come back, they will give you lots of free stuff.
