why would you take the x2 button for the animation?

I've seen in several forums that I had it as part of a focus group which I apparently am not part of but WHY would you NOT have it as an option for anyone who wants it? I don't want to play in slow-motion!

Hello @marco_gza this is just the way King manages all of their new features. Each new feature is released to different groups of players on a rotating basis, so this means not every player of Candy Crush receives every feature of the game at the same time.

The Speed Up button is no different. Some people will have the feature and some people won't. Also the people that have the feature might not keep it for more than a month and then players that don't have it will then receive it.

Even when the 'testing' of the feature has been completed not every player of the game will receive the Speed Up button and King never release a feature to every single player.

It should be noted that a lot of players that have had the Speed Up button and then had it removed from the game have complained that their games are slower than normal game play
