Cannot uninstall, as it appears as though not on device, but search only brings "ooen" button, which doesn't work

    Hi kericlem,

Sorry to hear you're having trouble with Candy Crush on your Fire device. Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the issue:

    1. Restart Your Device: A simple restart can sometimes fix many issues.
      • Hold the power button and select "Restart" or turn it off and back on.
    2. Clear Cache and Data:
      • Go to Settings > Apps & Games > Manage All Applications > Candy Crush.
      • Tap on Clear Cache and then Clear Data.
    3. Force Stop and Uninstall:
      • Go to Settings > Apps & Games > Manage All Applications > Candy Crush.
      • Tap on Force Stop.
      • Then tap on Uninstall. If it appears not to be on the device, you might need to find it in the Amazon Appstore to uninstall it from there.
    4. Reinstall the App:
      • Open the Amazon Appstore, search for Candy Crush, and reinstall the app.
    5. Update Your Fire OS:
      • Go to Settings > Device Options > System Updates and check for updates.

If none of these steps work, please let us know, provide us much details about your device and share any screenshot with the errors that you are seeing so we can have a closer look.

Thanks for your patience, and I hope this helps get you back to enjoying the game!
