Yes, I am afraid that explains it. Anyone who spends real money won't get ads. It's a sad fact of Candy Crush.
Last 4 months i didn't get any ads for extra moves and boosters..3 to 4 times i spent real money 😔
You are making the assumption it is intentional and not just another "value-added" bug that seem to be happening with the cup haha.
Hi @jay86 I have also lost my adverts since about a week or so ago. I didn't buy anything with real money of course so for me that cannot be the reason. What I think is happening is that King are taking away many of our best events to earn free boosters at the moment because they think people will spend more money on the game during the Candy Cup. I am hoping that once the event is over our adverts may return. You posted before about having lost your adverts. Did they return or did you never get them back?
Hi @jay86 have you paid real money recently to buy anything in the game? That is normally the main reason adverts stop. If you haven't bought anything it could be that King have removed them like they do every now and again, and you could start getting them again at some stage 🤞

in my weekly contest it is not recording my progress. It says I have only won 5 levels this week and I’ve actually won like 7 episodes. I have played at least 150 levels this week. I am Nikki #8 on the list
