Did anyone buy the Saturday/Sunday specials and only progress a few levels?

Frosting

I bought the Saturday special which was a bunch of boosters for a few hours. Barely made any progress. Then, as a fool, I bought the Sunday special and didn’t progress at all. So after 6 hours of game play I didn’t even make it to the end of the episode. Anyone else experience this? I’m at the 2489ish level/episode. Granted it’s hard but wondering what others experienced.
