The Royale, as far as the spreading out of the gold bars, still acts like it is the normal version. Ie the 24 stage version shows the max value of your reward at the 12th stage.
Sorta gives it away that the event is just a randomly generated reward when you start ;)

It happens to me to start multiple times the Candy Royale, sometimes 2, 3 times daily, but I always lose, because I find hard or very hard levels where I am stuck! I am just on level 2034, but I cannot have a good streak any more!
As far as we had the daily Treat Machine and some other events, it was possible to win multiple levels in a row!
Now it is not!
So, it is not possible to win this one:
