hello, I recently added some friends on candycrush and I have been sending hem lives, however, I seem to be unable to receive lives, even though they send them, nor am I able requests lives from them. Would appreciate any help.

Hi @Peaches12 thank you for thinking of us š. I know neither of us are playing via Facebook and I always received lives from Alienscar up until a few months ago. I am possibly wrong but it seemed to be the time the Sneaky Melon Duck appeared and Alienscar is a SMD for me in my friends list. You may have seen the thread re SMD where QueenB has confirmed there is a fault and the Studio are looking into it. She doesn't think it will be a quick fix but at least it's being looked at. So I am going to wait for that to be done and see if I start getting lives again from Alienscar. The good thing is I'm not desperate for lives but it just seems so unfair that we are all bothering to send and they're not always being received.

Just curious. Are you playing on different versions? Maybe lives sent from Facebook version of the game don't get to players on the app version of the game or lives sent from the windows version don't get to players with the iPhone version.
š @cookiemae when I was sending lives this morning I noticed your sent lives was nowhere near what it normally is. Thought you was having a rest, but no seems even that is faulty.
There's definitely something wrong with candy crush. It's not even showing the correct amount of lives I have sent out on my profile. I guess I will try again tomorrow.

What about your app permissions? Have you turned notifications off and do you limit the access of the app in any way?
I actually play on the app, so no, nothing of that nature

I am sorry to hear that @phantastica there is obviously something wrong with the life system of the game.
Do you use an advert blocker and do you use a browser that protects your privacy?

Me and @Carol-38 are in a similar position. I can receive lives from her, but even though I send Carol two or more lives a day she does not receive them.

Hi @phantastica don't believe everything that @Carol-38 says as I wouldn't describe myself as clever.
Regarding your problem with not being able to open the envelope this usually means that you do not have any active life requests, or messages from friends.
As an experiment would you mind trying to add me to your game to see if you can receive lives from me.
