I've been having this problem for several months. I'm using an iPad Mini 6 running iOS 17.5.1. I am not on any groups and don't pay for any upgraded features. I have been having an almost universal freezing problem with any ad that seems to be made for a localized business, a weight company, a kitchen equipment company, an overland camper company and a few others. Ads that seem to be made by more "professional" web developers don't crash, and the lesser ones don't crash all the time, bit they do intermittently. I can either retort the game and lose any progress of that particular game or wait until the ad cycles and I get the X to close the ad. When I press the X I get the typical "you will lose your progress" screen but it's quicker than a reboot. I am also losing my mind over this silliness. I don't have any problem loading, but the ads freeze with too much regularity.
