One move short without fail

This is another thing I am getting really fed up with: The fact that you just can count on this game to leave you one move or one lollipop short, no matter what you do. Normally you would expect something to open up if I strike this match below:

But this being my last move on a level above 15,000 of course I get NOTHING:

Now what were the chances of that happening by chance, with so few colours on the board?

Yes, I do understand why they do it. But up at these levels I'm on now I do think it is kind of unfair and aggravating: After I played a party popper to clear as much of the board as I can early on, no matter what I do some levels still leave me one jelly short. It makes me suspect that there are two separate parts to the game algorithm. I have long suspected this and I think @Pyrolight mentioned this before as well in one of their posts. What you do to clear the board seems to only get you so far. In those last 7 or so moves a new part of the level algorithm seems to kick in. At this point the fail/pass/one jelly short version of the algorithm seems to be set in stone, and no matter what moves I make I cannot change the outcome. That is so frustrating when you have already heavily invested in boosters in a level. It seems so unfair to clear almost the entire board with a party popper plus a UFO early on and then the wrong candies drop in part two to still deliberately leave me one lollipop short. That is annoying and unfair!

@Alienscar I understand it really doesn't bother me to much tho. I have played since the start on Facebook and enjoy these little games King play with us. Kinda keep me interested. Lol

Hi @cookiemae it is definitely on purpose we are both just saying we are fed up with the inevitability of it.

@christinewupp @Alienscar I think this is on purpose. Just a way to encourage people to buy lives or boosters.

I totally agree with you @christinewupp the obviousness of the one move/booster short of completing a level element of the game is highly frustrating and it really is beginning to take the fun out of the game.
