Why does the last level in every episode freeze?

Every episode I play just before the last level I get this screen, followed by the loading screen, which then freezes. I have to close and reopen the app each time.

Is this something to do with the Volcano event that used to change the last level of each episode to a different level and has since disappeared from my game?

I play iOS: iPhone and iPad. Two completely different accounts are affected, they are at different levels and on different devices, that seems the oddest part of it.

No one here can possibly answer this kind of question, not even the Managers.

There are that many grey screen/frozen game/crashing game/can't connect issues at the moment I can't keep them all straight in my head.

iOS is suffering from the 'can't connect the store' issue that prevents people from buying extra moves at the moment. As some has pointed out the issue only affects the purchase of extra moves when losing a level at all other times the Store works fine.

It could be that your issue is just an extension of that issue.
