On the plus side, looks like it will not be a leaderboard event. The https://candy-crush-seasons.web.app/pages/tournament_terms_and_conditions page still shows the cup. If it was a new leaderboard would have expected that to be updated.
I want this next event to involve Denize in some way. This year is her year!
LOL part of the reason I restart is they keep half changing stuff making the game feel very jarring and inconsistent.
Funnily enough the penny just dropped for me on this subject 5 mins ago while commenting in a different thread. Alas @christinewupp I feel you are absolutely right. We are personae non gratae now. Not sure I have the energy or motivation to start all over again but we’ll see.
Given the way things are going….. whatever they come up with, there won't be any more boosters from just playing old levels. New levels for everything, so good-bye anyone on levels above 15,000!. Sorry @teenybee I'm not being harsh, just realistic. It's been heading that way for a long time and it looks like King are heading for the final push now: Players at the top are expendable, superfluous and if nothing else then a nuisance to King. Do it like our @Pyroyeti , start a new game every season and see how far you get.
Don't get me wrong, I would want to stab myself in the brain if it was another leader board event.
Oh please, anything but another leaderboard event. Something that doesn’t exclude people with no new levels to play would be a nice change from the recent crop of contests.
