Game parameters keep changing

Question

I have been stuck on one level now for what seems like weeks, level 5446. Two times now I have been in a position where I have built up to 255 extra moves if I choose to purchase them and then the system resets this back to nothing and I am at square one again. the level to build up to this level I would have needed to try the level a minimum of  100 times which seems extreme. to be honest I am now at the point that I never want to play again due to this one level
