There is definitely an issue with the sending and receiving of lives @chrissy55555 but no one here can tell you why. Everyone here is just an ordinary member of the public like you, so whilst we know things aren't working in the game we don't know why.
That said you should be getting some lives. Try adding more players to your game. The more 'friends' you have the more likely it is you will receive some lives.
If you already have the maximum 200 lives saved you can't receive anymore.
