How to link King and Facebook accounts now that login on website is gone?

I've been searching this online for a long time and I cannot find a solution. I saw one answer on this site suggest that logging into both acccounts on the device should merge them, but this is not the case, as that resulted in me having two accounts now, the facebook one is at level 1 and the king one (my main one) is at level 60. The King FAQ says to login to your King account on a web browser, but that functionality has been removed from the website.

I play on iOS 17.5.1, iPhone 13 mini. @PummyRaj, as mentioned in my original post, that did not work for me. Logging in with facebook after being logged in with my king account simply created a second account at level 1. My King account is at Level 61 while my Facebook account is at level 2. (You exact post is what I've found in my searches but it didn't work for that person either).

A lot of changes were made to King.com webpage last year or before! Since then, the facility to sync our games is not available anymore! But, King has made it possible to do it on our mobile devices itself. Please check below👇

We can now create the King account directly on our mobile devices (if you do not have one already)!

How do I create a King account?

On mobile and the Windows app, go to the "Profile" in your game and disconnect from Facebook first if you’re logged into Facebook.
Then choose the "Register with an email" and follow the steps OR if you already have a King account, choose the option "Log in with email".

How to sync your King account with Facebook?

Your accounts will automatically sync as soon as you connect to both platforms.

I have not tried this as I have synced my game long time ago on King.com webpage! So, please let me know (by replying below) if you have any questions and/or experience any issues with the process🍫🍫
