Try saving up a couple boosters or save timed boosters to pass levels quicker. I like to strategize whenever I start an episode race. My rule of thumb is not to play newer levels until I feel comfortable to (having timed boosters in hand). This helps me collect as much gold bars as possible too. It’s very crucial with a game like this where a lot of levels can screw with you for hours or even days.
