why do you play against players that are many levels behind you and are playing easier levels then what you are playing? Also they are the same players week after week and you don’t stand a chance of winning against them seeing the levels you are playing are a lot more difficult. Doesn’t seem fair to me.

Oh yes @Kadoug518 I am not saying the Weekly Contest is perfect and being at level 16851 definitely puts you at a disadvantage.

If you ever get really bored try scrolling back to some of the Hard/Nightmarishly hard levels between levels 4000-6000 and see how easy you think they are.

Some of the earlier levels aren't that easy @Kadoug518 so the situation as as clear cut as you might think.

Also no matter what level you are at there is also the issue that some people purchase boosters, gold and lives in order to complete the levels easily and these players are in your Weekly Contest as well.

Overall though the thing to keep in mind is that the Weekly Contest isn't as straight forward as you think. The other players in your Contest should just be considered placeholders. That is King has placed the other players in your Weekly Contest in order for you to be measured against. The other players do not win anything from your Contest though. The only person that can a reward from your COntest is you. By that I mean the person that is shown as first in your Contest isn't necessarily first in their own Contest. King uses the number of levels of other players purely as a means to make you attempt to beat those scores.
