I can’t play. I have restarted my phone, all updates are done, and deleted and reinstalled the app. Still can’t play. It’s been over 24hrs now. The only way I can play at all is by logging out of my account.

I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing the Grey screen glitch in your game!
The King team is aware of this issue and working in a fix. But, they did posted a work-around tip for this glitch! You should find it as one of the articles in game's "Help Center".
