I have eight gold bars and every time I hit the plus button it does nothing. What am I doing wrong?

How many gold bars did you purchase? Did they reach into your game?
Can you please show me a screenshot of the Green + sign you are talking about please?

@PummyRaj I've tried using them on both my Android tablet and also on my Galaxy A71 5g phone. I'm afraid to purchase again as I don't want to waste more money. Am I correct that I should be able to click the green plus sign to use them? No connection errors and I purchased them this week
