No Top That, Candy Royale disappeared from multiple games AGAIN, boring. No reason to play this week. Blah.

Of course boosters are great @Carol-38 but I was commenting on how boring the game has become without any events and in that respect getting boosters for watching adverts rather than playing an actual level in the game, I wouldn't class that as anything to reduce the boredom, it only adds to it to be sure. Watch boring ads to get boosters may well be what most player would see as a good thing, but where is the incentive to actually get out there and crush some candies? We need EVENTS, real events.
However @Aries2020 this odd thing happened to me today:
I logged into my game this morning, played one old level and then I got this:
I mean, WHAT?????
I must add that yesterday I had tried to catch my Candy Royale just at the same time as the troll showed up, just when there were 27 minutes left on the counter for CandyRoyale. I thought I probably could achieve the 12 levels it asked for in 27 minutes. But the moment I started playing the episode all sign of Candy Royale disappeared. I finished the troll and finished the episode but there was NO Candy Royale.
It would appear it must have been running along invisible in the background while I was playing and though of course any amount of free gold is always welcome having a potentially fun event that I love play behind the scenes is not in fact adding to the enjoyment of the game. So if anyone at King should read this: Nothing is fixed yet, game still needs attention. Please fix. And yes, my game is running the latest update.
I must admit I like getting the few boosters, I definitely need them in my game.
Do you get ads in your game @Aries2020 ? Sweet cinema and treasure hunt aren't real events, they are just getting a few boosters for watching lots of adverts, which is why I don't use them. They don't involve playing Candy Crush at all.

I've never seen sweet cinema or the other one you have. Must be yet another thing where King gives different people different things in the game which is idiotic. But I'm pissed now. Nothing to do in this game at all right now and the only thing people have left to look forward to all week which is the Elite candy royale - candy Royale is totally gone today from every single device and platform! Only the stupid troll in its place which is a waste of time and annoying. They've taken everything out of this game completely. Shame on King.
Now they've totally removed candy Royale too!! Seriously??? No freakin events at all for 2 weeks and now they've taken away the one thing that I look forward to all week candy Royale elite challenge and now candy Royale is totally gone from all platforms and all devices and only the stupid troll is here! What the hell is going on with this game??
It must be the lack of ads. I think I was confusing it with star tournament when I wrote the comment. I'm playing the windows version. Mobile is too small for me. I'm in the 6100s.

What is Treat Parade @Aries2020 ? Here is a shot of my so-called "events".
All of these either include adverts or run while we play offline, so they don't require much input from the server. I never go into Sweet Cinema or Treasure hunt.
King are being super secretive at the moment and have left us guessing about what they have up their sleeve. It looks to me that they are running a major overhaul of the game (and of the community), and paused live events for the time being to clean things up. I wish they would communicate better and this community has largely been abandoned now to run on automated response systems as well, so we are left pretty much in the dark as to what is going on. However I did finally get a reply from QueenB in the "Candy Unwrapped" thread here ( on page2):
It may well be that the downtime on events has something to do with the many connection problems players have been experiencing with the app, myself included. Features such as our friends lists have recently been tidied up and the player cards have become much more reliable as well. It might be that the team at King needed some space to work on these issues, because quite frankly the app had turned into a mess in 2024 with nothing working properly. Let's hope it all functions when live events do reappear.
@Peaches12 Where in the game are you playing? I think every mobile player gets Season Pass from very early on in the game (I once got it starting at level 110), but I have heard that Windows players don't get it.
Not me. I've never had season pass (not far enough in the game) or treat parade. I do have chocolate box.
Does anyone see any events this week at all except Candy Royale? And season pass and treat parade don't count. 🤣🤣
To won 340 gold bars is so hard for me… I have won 50 gold bars in the Candy Royale at the most. To won gold bars you need enough power ups probably.

They even took Candy Royale away... Ugh.. I Are they deliberately trying to alienate their players? I don't get it. This is the most counterproductive business practice I've seen on my life. Seriously. Normally, a company is always trying to get more users and more customers. King is just driving away their existing customer base...
They did come up with more ways to get us to spend money masquerading as events - treat parade, for example. Or this new rewards lounge thing, spend gold bars to win boosters. Yeah right. This week it's asking me to spend 700 bars and the rewards are SO not worth the price. Same with treat parade. One 5 min fish? Yeah right. So all new ways to make money but nothing for us to actually enjoy playing. Old or new.
Yep. Second week in a row and absolutely nothing to do here.

Hello everyone. I’m interested in how it’s possible that a player who has completed four times fewer levels than me has collected more blue candles. Since the qualifications started, I’ve completed at least 400 levels, and he hasn’t even done 200. It’s as if he was playing levels with only blue candles.
I received an email stating I earned a free switch in the Candy Crush game. I never received the actual gift. Is this something you actually do?
