People not seeing your answer should never be a problem @christinewupp
The person that you answer will receive a notification via the 'bell' as long as you tag the person and if all else fails they can just check their discussion link in their profile.
They don't need to find their post as clicking on the notification will take them straight to their post as will selecting the post from their discussion list.
Yes @christinewupp Recent Discussions is a really useful way of keeping up to date with the posts of any forum. It is a real shame they chose to remove that option from this forum. I have been using that method of using recent discussions since they removed it, but I didn't like to say anything in case the powers that be removed that option as well.

Difficult to say @christinewupp For me Recent Discussions is an option that appears when I Google King Community. I don't know if you would get the same result on iOS.
It is a shame as Recent Discussions used to be one of the Quick Links.

It was here in Support when I answered it. But as soon as I flagged Courtney's inappropriate answer the whole thread disappeared and vanished to wherever you've now found it. Just like last time!

I haven't figured out how people to do it, but every now and again a new member will post in an area of this forum that other members can't easily see. Those areas are Candy Crush Saga and King Community.
The correct path should be Candy Crush Saga/Discussions or King Community/Discussions, but somehow some new members manage to post in an area that isn't the Discussion area.
