All my Weekly race opposition are new players under level 200!

This week every single player I'm up against is playing at levels below 200! In both accounts, so my guess would be that it's the case for every player?
Is this deliberate from King or another glitch?
Let's get ready for an influx of complaints.
Perhaps anyone who reads this could check their weekly race opposition and we could check if this is so for everyone.

I would be especially interested to hear from you @Alienscar since you no longer play any new levels. What kind of opposition shows up in your weekly races?
Equally how about you @Colleen Companion Welsh? What kind of opposition does the game pick for you who passes hundreds of levels per week?

Here are my opponents this week, all 14 of them are below level 200:
First stats: 7 started playing in 2024, 6 started playing in 2025, one started playing in 2013.

My stats:
New game (level 366), opponents' levels: 593, 219, 1155, 160, 98, 774, 624.
Main game (level 14946), opponents' levels: 593, 1762, 160, 1483, 219, 774, 1411.
Not all opponents are below level 200, but it is still pretty unusual to see no middle-range or high-level players at all. The most interesting thing is that there are four opponents who are the same in both groups. The cat got a slightly easier group than the dog, even though the cat passed 180 levels in the past 7 days, while the dog only passed 75.

Hello @christinewupp how do I know who is my opposition players? I meant I am playing the game and there are other players who's are competing with me and none of them I don't know. So it would be great if I know my opposition players (if they are from community) then it would be more thrilled and enjoyable 😉

You click onto their names or picture @BossKing and then their player cards will show up. At the top of each player card you can see their level. Here is a selection of the players in my weekly race
All my 14 opponents in my two games started off below level 200 at the beginning of the race.

I am actually quite surprised that your two games are different from mine @MannyFae . They must be doing different test groups then and only one of the test groups gets opposition at the lowest levels. As for how the same players show up in both your games, that is beyond me. That's really strange.

They seem to also have tightened the range of "levels passed in 7 days" , which is obviously how King control the Weekly Race. In my Poppy game, where I played 52 levels last week these are my opponent ranges of "levels won":
73, 57, 65, 67, 73, 72, 69.
In my Cornflower game where I played 15 levels in the past 7 days my opponents "levels won" are:
13, 20, 18,18, 20, 44, 33

This has been the case in my game for the last four weeks @christinewupp and half of the players are always from India.
Now that this has happened to your game it will be interesting to see if they have moved this change from my game to another group or just increased the number of groups in the change.
They seem to also have tightened the range of "levels passed in 7 days"
I would have agreed with this two months ago, but now the person in first place is always shown as completing 49 levels or more. As you know I haven't played any new levels in a long time and it used to be that my Weekly Contest reflected that and the top three players sometimes had a score of zero.
There is still something wrong with the player card though as the person that was in first place had a login streak of one all week. It also shows my Last Race position as being fifth when I was actually first.

Main game (75 levels past 7 days): 127, 175, 124, 88, 155, 78, 124.
New game (195 levels past 7 days): 127, 124, 88, 155, 85, 99, 79.
It seems that the number of levels they passed is not related to how many levels I passed. The new game's group is easier despite passing more levels.
Regarding the same players in both my games, one thing that has changed when the Weekly Contest was revamped to no longer include friends is that almost all of my opponents are now from Czechia. This week, they seem to have narrowed the pool of players they chose from even further, to only include players below level 2,000. It looks like they now have too few players to choose from.

Thanks for answering that. It's useful to know the player cards are not accurate as well.
