How is only giving us one fish instead of three be an improvement? I guess the developers really don't care what the players say about this test since it hasn't changed back to three fish. Why do the developers take the time to ask us and then just ignore it. The one fish is just a waste of time. Please go back to three.

The new fish thing is HORRIBLE! And yes, I meant to shout! The fish are now basically worthless. They certainly arenāt worth even calling a booster anymore. Theyāre just a differently shaped regular candy! Please bring back the old fish!
Queen B, you said this part of a test of the fish. It is now Jan. 23, 2025 so it is over 2 months of a test. Call me skeptical, but does that mean the one fish test is now complete and we are stuck with it. Doesn't the comment mean anything and that we don't like it. Go back to one hit gives three fish. hate this fish thing. I want to delete the game and never return. HATE IT
The new single fish is a waste of time. You use a move to create a fish, you use a second move to activate the fish and it then only removes 1 suare from 2 moves. You are better of not creating the fish and you have rendered any fish purchased as being worthless or a waste of time. Please return to previous 3 fish per activation, it was at least worthwhile. You mentioned the advantage of creating fish from within the game, and it sounds like it would be advantageous but it really is a waste of moves to create and then activate. Thanks for your time š
The feature is cool, but the fact that it takes more than one move to get one fish isn't helpful. I like the 2x2, but it should immediately activate that one fish in order for it to be beneficial and in any way equivalent to the three fish.
I'm sorry, but this is one of the worst "improvements" I've ever seen! Please, please go back to the old jelly fish because eating just one jelly at a time is no help at all, regardless of how "targeted" it is!
Up to today (1/21/25), I always got three fish and now I get one. What happened? Is this another obstacle King has put in our way to make even more levels impossible without boosters or gold bars? After level 15000, almost every level needs boosters or gold bars to complete. I know King is in it to make money; but at least give us a fair shot.
Its awful really, i hate it... In the old version When i hit a fish with a stripped candy it splits into 3 stripped fishes, but now it is only one stripped fish, what is the edge then for the fish???

The fish arr the opposite of smarter now. They will eat any candy even if itās a booster that is far away
The fish are the opposite of smarter. Now theyāre eating whatever they want, including boosters and random candy, and they WILL NOT go for the items youāre trying to clear out (i.e jelly or toffee swirls). It doesnāt make sense as some levels depend on the fish eating unwanted items like chocolate, licorice, etc. So instead of being help theyāre now a nuisance :(
that is what i was thinking! can anybody confirm if every fish is now only a single fish? even the booster version of the fish and the ones spawned from cannons? If its just the combo move fish that is a single fish, THEN that makes more senseā¦
but if every fish is a single fish including boosters and cannons then its just gonna make A LOT of levels that rely on fish cannons almost impossbile.
The team is eating paint chips again. There are more than a few levels, including legendary under 500 that require a large number of fish to complete. How in the world will those fish levels work with 1 smart fish?
I can't think of the level number but it has fish and dragons under jelly that have to drop down with a whack of frosting. You would never be able to launch enough single fish to complete it.
Bro my 2x2 dont even work anymore. So basically I cant make fish and when ever i have fish it only do one target. Im in my contest weekly with a hard opponent, im ~680 and he is ~600. So i have to stop playing till i figure it out. This is a totally nerf, last time it happen with my super colour bomb, only clear once instead of 2. Cost me few hundred gold to reach my goal, now this happen. What do you mean by "part of the test for a small group of player"? It means i play well, so i got nerf to make balance or something? Pls explain for me why my 2x2 wont work anymore pls, nothing happen when i do it, and what is the test for my group of players, if that a test i think you have to give us the heads-up first, and if that is a test, what is our reward. It is worth for us to take that test, and it should be our choice to do the test or not, so give us the choice, dont make change like that without any warning, its really annoying.

Thanks for bringing up the change with the fish feature. This is actually part of a test being rolled out for a small group of players.
Just as @MannyFae mentioned, it is designed to balance the new feature that allows you to make a fish by matching four candies.

This is probably a change to complement and balance the new feature that allows you to make a fish by matching four candies. You can make fish, like in Soda, but you only get one fish, just like in Soda.
Does anyone who only gets one fish have the new 'make fish' feature?
In fact I have now tested it out and I still get three fishes! Which device are those playing on who only get one?
I play on iPad.
This is my game: I have one fish after I make the match with the orange fish, it leaves the screen as a single fish @QueenB, but three fishes return to the screen. However looking at videos on YouTube it's always been this way, so maybe it only affects some players.
