That will be for legal reasons. I don't know exactly what these legal reasons are, but if you check the list of participating countries then some of inclusions and exclusions of European countries also makes no sense. For example most European Union countries are part of All Stars, but a lot are not: Czechia takes part, but Hungary does not. Why?
By holding the live finals in the USA King are effectively preventing any player from any country that is not the US visa waiver list from winning the tournament. Yet they include countries like Chile and Brazil in the tournament even though as we saw in 2024 it is impossible to obtain a visa at such short notice: To obtain a US visa people are required to name the hotel where they will be staying. This is not possible: King won't invite players with no visa and players cannot obtain a visa without a hotel. In 2024 there was no response in this community from King to any visa questions at all. King make sure to cover all the legal loopholes and then wash their hands off everything.
Then, why exactly are they exluding Asian players?

Yes, definitely. Kiara tells players that in the Support forum as well. It is how they did it in the last two years. They pay for flights and hotel for the winners plus one.

Check the FAQs, the Terms and Conditions and also we know that King paid travel and hotel costs in the previous two years.
However: King will not arrange for a visa or pay for any visa. So players from South America should take note of this.
