I'm sure you are right @morganleeoregon and it does work your way. I wish you luck in the tournament finale. But I've never played that way and we all have different methods, hopefully with similar outcomes. We'll see on Saturday if one method is more successful than the other. We need to each play to the best of our abilities using whatever method we've come familiar and comfortable with. Good luck!

Keep in mind that Ben Chin, last year's All Star winner, has won the 2nd Round of Final KOs. If you get placed in his group (1 in 10 chance), you will be sorry as you won't stand a chance against him. Stay alert! He is virtually "invincible." Consider him the "final boss."

    🎯 Pacing myself... it’s a marathon, not a sprint!

I was thinking that I need to change the strategy for the final. That is great advice Morgan.

As I'm playing in the 9000 levels area I will need to take advantage of this super levels, milk as much purple as possible when the opportunity arises and obliterate the non purple/ hard levels.

How far did you make it last year ?

Party Boosters?! Watch out for Ben Chin (1 in 10 chance). Given that he has won the $500K top prize last year, he could use some of it on Party Poppers to crush you to pieces and grow his lead by a lot to maintain a perfect clear (not failing any levels during the round).

I'm not sure we've ever had this many players here in the community who have made it to the final round! This is really great to see.

Congratulations to all who made it through to final knockout round 3! This means that out of many millions we're in the top 1000. As there will be just 10 groups (unless there's a "kokup" like there was last year) we might well be finding us playing against one another, which will be interesting, but also a shame if it happens. If you see me don't worry, I won't steal anyone's place in LA. If any player runs away with it with impossible scores, don't worry either: Chances are they will get eliminated in the vetting process.

I don't know what to expect nor how much I can really crush in 24 hours. I know I'll be up against top players with younger fingers than mine. (Yes, being "older than 30" probably really is a hindrance but if any of us can work through the joint pain for 24 hours to then be branded a "cheater" because no one over 30 can possibly achieve that remains the biggest insult I have read here to date - and I have read a few over the years!)

Good luck to you all and I hope one of you will make to the live finals!

    Hi 🤗

I’m from Finland and I’ve won every round since the start in March but now I’m getting really scared of the final KO after all i read. 😬😅 One thing I’ve been wondering about is if it’s better to move on directly to next level and press the skip button if I’ve got moves left? Or is it better to let the game finish crashing all the leftover moves? Somewhere I read that there are max points on each level, how do you know if it’s waste of time waiting for the game to crush or if it will bring more points? Does anybody know what points will be needed in the last KO?

Definitely, press the skip button! The purple in the final cascade get computed and added whether we skip or not.

Don't worry about maximum points per level. Any regular play won't reach that. The maximum only concerns players using certain unfair techniques and apparently the game will inform you if you reach that maximum.

The winners in the last two years score about 4-5 million in the 24 hours.

    Good luck!

You have close to ZERO chance of making to the Live Final if you are grouped with Ben Chin. He is an "invincible" player.

@christinewupp dont worry last year second position in the final event was above 60 years (the age is not public but that is my impression) and still was able to play for 24 hours and do something between 4-5millions, lets say around 200k per hour. Sounds really reasonable right? I assume that use a lot of party boosters and USD:

@KiwiBird97 agree with you. If we see Ben in our group better to dont waste, no real option to beat him online. For sure will be much easier to beat him in the live event where he cant buy boosters

Last year, in the online final, there were people who finished with more points than Ben, so I don't understand so much concern about just one player... at this stage, most of them are all good players and have a lot of boosters. Anyone who has superior purple per hour average than those that @christinewupp has already mentioned several times, will most likely use suspicious methods that are not understood as normal, as they should be played.
