Already played levels are slower

Is it just me or are old levels suddenly somehow slower even thoug » is on?

And it's only already played levels.
Every new level is as fast as ever but as soon as I replay it (after I win it) it's slow.
It's very annoying.

A ploy to get us to only play new levels?

I had that a couple of days ago @Jumpery so I switched to the slower speed, made a few moves then switched back and it played as it should. Not had any more problems since. This has been reported quite a few times in the past, so something else that has it's problems.
